Victory Medal (82646 SPR. H. PICKERING. R.E.). Awarded to Sapper later Private Hector Pickering a rather interesting individual enlisted as 82646 sapper Hector Pickering of the 733 Company, Royal Engineers entering the theatre of operations on the 8th March 1915. He later saw service with the 12th Yorks & Lancaster Regiment with the rank of Private. Medal index card confirms he was also entitled to the General Service Medal 1918-62 with clasp Iraq & N.W.Persia. (with copy MIC & medal rolls)
