A complete original US WW2 era Enlisted Man's Four Pocket dress uniform.
Tunic
General good condition, one or two small moth nips and light soiling in places. Tunic is furnished with;
1. U.S. and Signal Corps collar dogs, flat back clutches to both, denoting war-time,
2. An Army Service Corps patch on left shoulder.
Marked inside 'Franklin' with laundry number F7181.
Size marked 39S, but measured by hand as follows;
Pit to pit - 20", so around a 38-40" chest
Shoulder seam to cuff - 24"
Shoulder to shoulder - 18"
Shirt
Quite soiled on the front, so needs a clean, all buttons present, no noticeable mothing. Size marked 15 1/2 - 32. Measured pit to pit at 22.5 inches, so around a 42" chest.
Cap
General good condition, one or two moth nips, marked inside 'Franklin' with same laundry number as tunic. Orange and white piping, denoting Signal Corps. Not size marked, but approximately a 7.
Trousers
Trousers are in good condition, no obvious mothing, size marked 30x29. Manufacture date on label of 27 October 1943, by Kane MFG Co. All buttons present. Measured by hand;
Waist - 30"
Inside Leg - 26", potential to let down by around 2".
