A nice example of a S84/98 Bayonet with scabbard.

The Bayonet itself is in  good condition with an excellent and undamaged blade retaining about 90% of it’s original high quality blueing with just minor patches of darkening to the blueing itself. The ricasso is without stamps

The wooden grips are good with light bruising only and with one drain hole plugged. Fittings are very good with excellent blueing, the pommel head with two waffenampt stamps and D13172. The release button works smoothly.

The scabbard  very good with good blueing, the throat stamp 9902 a. The the frog lug is futher marked 9529. There is a waffenamt stamp to the chape end.
