    About this item

    Official press photograph (Fleet Street )of a casualty clearing station on the Menin Road, Ypres. Dated 20th September probably 1917, and on the reverse of the photo it states British Australian and South African troops have made a successful combined attack on the Germans and also notes that German POWs are well treated,with much care as the British wounded. In general good condition measures 21 x 16 cm.
