About this item
British Corps of Military Police armband. WW2 version with red felt letters machined to a blue brassard with press stud fittings by Newey.
During the early part of the war the armband itself was in a dark blue colour, in 1940 changing to black.
Constructed in a ribbed cotton, the brassard is in excellent, perhaps unissued condition.
Formerly part of the Gordon Williamson collection.
