For sale is a WW2 British SOE Escape & Evade Repurposed Silk Map Of Sections Of Germany Tie.

  This well made tie is made from an RAF / SOE escape and evasion map. Approximatley 132cm in length. In the early post war years some escape and evasion maps were given a new lease of life and adapted for domestic use in the form of clothing. Underwear, shirts, wedding dresses, blouses and, in this case, a well made tie.     On the inside flap of the tie there is a border and it states “Overlaps West Margin Of Sheet 43”. British-Made Allied forces 43-series silk "invasion map", from WWII, which is one of a series of maps, which could be spread out on a large table and interlocked.   This will be sent via Royal Mail special delivery and dispatched within one working day.
