About this item
An extremely rare Kriegsmarine marked Sling (Strap) for the K98 and other WW11 German rifles.
Overall condition is very good, the leather supple and without damage perhaps well preserved by what appears to be a leather cream which has produced some patches which I believe will simply wipe away.
The leather has the textbook diamond pattern to give it grip, the most important aspect being a good Kriegsmarine eagle and waffenampt stamp, the stopper which sits in the rifle butt, dated 44
