    About this item

Here is a Snider-Enfield rifle, This particular one has 3 bands and is full length. Dated 1971 this would have been manufactured only 5 years after they entered service.

The name Snider-Enfield comes from the fact that Enfield made the rifle and used a U.S designed Jacob Snider breech block mechanism.

Firing a .577 cartridge the Snider-Enfield packed a heavy punch and much faster rate of fire due to it being a breech loading rifle and not being a slow reloading muzzle loading rifle. It was liked by the troops and was used until it was supersceded by the famous Martini-Henry rifle.

This weapon is obsolete and as such doesn't need to deactivated or a deactivation certificate.

*Must be over 18 to purchase this rifle*
