    An original World War One era 1914 'Mons' Star, with length of original ribbon.  The Star has been heavily polished over the years with some loss of definition, particularly to the '1914' part of the star.  Correctly named to;

    26095 DVR: B. FARROW. R.E.

    The MIC confirms Bertie Farrow was entitled to a 14 Star trio, having arrived in France on 12 October 1914. He served with the 3rd Field Squadron.
