A scarce pair of original 1942 dated Women's Auxiliary Air Force socks in excellent, unworn condition.
The socks are made from a dark blue coloured wool and both retain their original labels to the interior. The maker's name of 'G. P. Liec Ltd' is present as is the 1942 date, the size of 8 1/2 and the War Department broad arrow marking.
The socks are in excellent, new old stock condition and have clearly never been worn or issued.
A rare piece of women's uniform with a clear wartime date!
