    About this item

A recently uncovered and completely untouched 1796 Pattern Infantry Seargent's sword.

This example lacks the decoration of the more commonly encountered officers swords.

Plain, single fullered blade, measuring 32 inches. Brass spadroon style hilt with ribbed wooden grip, which has a small split towards the grip ferrule. Some movement between blade and grip, the blade needs a replacement washer.

All in all a very respectable sword, and much harder to find than the Officers examples.

Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched.
