    A good 1854 Pattern Infantry Officers Sword by Silver and Co, London, circa 1870.

    A good brass gothic guard with the crowned VR cypher. All shagreen complete and bound by twistwire.

    Etched blade with makers marking and proof slug to either ricasso. Foliate etching with crowned VR Cypher. Single fuller. 

    Blade length 32.75 inches.

    Blade shows signs of service sharpening, and seems to have lost the original point of the blade.

    Housed in its original steel scabbard with twin suspension rings.

    Strictly over 18's only.
