    A very interesting Georgian cavalry officers sword, somewhat resembling the 1796 undress cavalry officers sword.


    This example with gilt brass boatshell type guard, with twistwire and tape bound hilt.

    The guard with a 2cm crack towards the front of the guard.

    The bright steel blade with the motto "Pro Gloria Et Patria" (For Honour and Fatherland) to both sides, along with the image of a running wolf.

    The unfullered blade length 30.75 inches. Some rounding towards the tip.

    Iron scabbard with two hanging rings. Plum patina and solid, with no holes.

    Strictly over 18's only.
