A very good, untouched and scarce example of the 1925 Pattern Elizabeth II Royal Air Force Officers Sword.
This example, unconditionally guranteed to be genuine, was produced by the Wilkinson Sword company, circa 1980.
Generally good condition overall, no deformation to the brass guard, the blade with some minor staining, and old corrosion to the spine and cutting edge, localised to one area, around an inch in length which could be improved. The whole in need of a good clean and tidy.
Housed in its original brass mounted leather scabbard, retaining an original dress hanger. Screws absent from the mounts, likely removed when the leather was polished during service. Some minor scuffs to the leather but generally solid.
