A good mid to late 19thC Tuareg Takouba / Tabouka Broad Sword, in original scabbard.
28.75 inch hand forged double edged blade with triple central fullers and chiseled crescent moon marks. Some old rust and pitting.
Housed in a very good quality scabbard of tooled leather with well decorated mounts and twin suspension straps.
Interestingly, both sword hilt and scabbard appear to have old collection markings. One of the better quality examples I have seen.
