A scarce 1897 Pattern Infantry Officers sword, bearing issue markings to the Australian Citizen Military Force.
This example produced by the Wilkinson Sword Company, London, and outwardly a typically high quality example of thier work.
Broad arrow, inspection, and Australian government markings to the sword's spine.
Matching "Q 94" markings to inner guard and scabbard. The "Q" presumably standing for Queensland?
The brown leather Sam Browne pattern field service scabbard impressed with Australian governement markings, crowned inspection marking, "C.M.F." and a date of "1.14" for January 1914.
A very good sword, fresh to the market, and completely untouched.
Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched.
