About this item
A good example of an Edward VII 1897 Pattern Infantry Officers dress sword.
The blade etched with the Steamer Logo at the ricasso, which I have been told is associated with Robert Mole.
Regulation 1897 pattern infantry guard with ERVII crowned cypher. Chequered backtrap, shagreen grip with silver twistwire binding.
32.5 inch single fullered blade with proof slug, vacant panels, foliate decoration, crowned royal coat of arms and Edward VII cypher. Blade with old grease and small areas of staining, but generally very clean.
Housed in its original brown leather Sam Browne pattern field service scabbard, with original frog.
A good untouched original set.
Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched.
