    About this item

A scarce Victorian steel hilted Constabulary Sword.

The steel hilted variation is quite often attributed to prison warders.

This particular example is in very fine condition, with a very bright clean, unmarked 24 inch blade, fully functioning release catch, the original steel mounted scabbard, and the super rare original frog. The frog itself is marked "WRC" possibly for West Riding Constabulary? The frog is undamaged, but is delicate and would benefit from a good feed, colour and polish, to preserve it for the next 150 years.

A scarce and complete example of this scarce variation.

Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched.
