For sale is a WW1 Death Plaque to Joseph Sims who served with the 1st battalion North Staffordshire Regiment.
Joseph’s service number was 9979, in which he served at the rank of private with the 1st battalion North Staffordshire Regiment. Joseph served in France from the 3rd of December 1914. Joseph was first wounded on the 1st of June in 1915. Unfortunately Joseph was died of his wounds on the 16th of January in 1916 after being wounded in action. Joseph was Remembered with Honour and buried at Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery in Belgium. Joseph was awarded a victory medal, war medal and 1914-15 star unfortunately these are not present. Accompanying this medal is 7 scans of his service records. Upon payment please let me know if you would prefer digital scans or printed copies.
