    About this item

A scarce original pair of 1943 dated white British military shorts by 'Harrods' in excellent condition.

These private purchase shorts closely resemble the standard British pattern in the early year of the war featuring a double buckle front and three belt loops. The buttons are silver coloured pressed metal as are often seen on Royal Navy shorts from this period. The shorts feature a twin pleated front, slash pockets to the hips and no rear pockets. The bottom of the legs have been cut short and not hemmed.

Inside the shorts is the original label which is quite small but states 'Harrods' as the maker, the waist size of '5' and the year of manufacture as 1943. The waist size is stated as 34 and the inside leg as 9".

The condition of the shorts is very good with only limited signs of wear. There are some marks but overall the present well. Please study the pictures and bear in mind that these are a pre-worn pair of shorts which may have small issues commensurate with age.

Overall a nice pair of British wartime shorts in excellent condition which would suit a collector well.
