An original pair of 1950s European made military work trousers in good condition.
These trousers are typical of those made in certain parts of Europe in the immediate post-war period. Made from a denim/drill type grey - green fabric, the trousers feature a high rise waist, button fly and wide leg. The front of the trousers features a single pleat and angled pockets whilst belt loops can be found around the waist. The rear of the trousers features a cinch back belt and buckle as were often fitted to work trousers of the 1920s and 1930s, as well as later although it was less common by this point.
The trousers will suit someone with a 34" waist and when laid flat they measure -
Waist - 17"
Rise - 14"
Rear rise - 18"
Inside leg - 33"
Outside leg - 46"
Cuff - 10"
The trousers are in good condition for their age and appear to be very wearable. There are some signs of wear and use as can be seen in the pictures. Please take time to study them and bear in mind that these are a vintage, pre-worn item which may have small issues commensurate with age.
