An original pair of Italian made Khaki Drill Shorts dating from the 1960s.
These shorts clearly take their influence from the British Army shorts issued in WW2. The features the same double strap and buckle fastenings to the waist and are made from the same shade of cotton drill. They feature chocolate brown buttons to the fly, slash pockets to the hips and a patch pocket to the rear.
The shorts will suit someone of around a 28" waist depending on desired fit and when laid flat measure -
Waist - 14 1/2"
Rise - 14"
Rear rise - 18"
Inside leg - 7 1/2"
Outside leg - 19 1/2"
Cuff - 12 1/2"
The shorts are in good condition as can be seen in the pictures. They show some signs of wear and use and have a few marks. Please study the pictures and bear in mind that these are a pair of pre-worn vintage shorts which have small issues commensurate with age.
A good pair of khaki drill shorts!
