    About this item

An original pair of M1942 United States Army Herringbone Twill Trousers in a hard to find tall size 34x34.5.

This pattern of trousers was introduced in the early part of the war and replaced the earlier blue denim fatigues. The trousers are made from a green coloured herringbone twill material and feature angled hip pockets, a ticket pocket to the waist and belt loops. The fly fastens with metal 13 star buttons and two pockets can be found to the rear.

The interior is lined around the waist with white cotton drill. The original owner has marked his name to this and reads '4320715 PFC Homer-Johnson'.

The trousers are a rare tall size and when laid flat measure -

    Waist - 17"
    Inside leg - 34 1/2"

The trousers are in nice condition with only limited signs of wear and use. They were clearly issued but display very well with only minor marks as shown in the pictures. There are no signs of undue wear but they may have other issues commensurate with age.

A very nice pair of original WW2 fatigues in a hard to find tall size!
