Original 1930s 1940s WW2 Period Nurses Apron

An original WW2 period nurses apron with red cross insignia. 

This apron came with a number of 1930s and WW2 period nursing items. Based on the construction and the buttons it clearly dates from this period but is impossible to date exactly. 

Made from a white coloured cotton, the apron features a red cross made from red cotton drill. The rear fastens with two rubber buttons which show signs of age.

When laid flat the waist of the item measures 15 1/2".

The apron displays reasonably well but does show signs of age. There is some soiling as shown in the pictures. 

A good original period item with signs of age.
