    About this item

A rare original British Army No. 38 Wireless Set webbing brace hook which forms part of the complete 38 set.

This hook is attached to the radio operators web set and helps to support the radio when on the move. It features brass fittings throughout which are tranished to a darker colour. This includes a hook which allows the radio to easily be secured to the body of the wearer or removed.

The rear of the attachment bears the original markings which includes the maker's initials of 'H. & S.' which denotes the maker as Hampton & Sons. The date is also partly legible as '194' and the signals stores code which begans with 'ZA' is also present.

Overall a good example of this hard to find piece of signals equipment!
