About this item
Original khaki woollen, single breasted,converted open collar, short jacket. Patch chest pockets with buttoned flaps. Lower extended belt. Both arms with embroidery "DEVON " titles . The left arm with a very rare embroidery 23rd Infantry Brigade formation badge .Infantry embroidery Captains rank stars to both shoulders .Internal issue label dated "1943". Clean condition but minor moth nips.
23rd Infantry Brigade was short lived in India and Burma then in 1946 acting as Security forces .
