WW1 Pair. British War Medal, Victory Medal. Issued to 24712 Guardsman J. Seeley. 2nd Bn Grenadier Guards. He died 3rd February 1919 in no10 General Field Hospital at the end of his active service. He was aged 41 and is buried in St. Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen.
John Moffatt Seeley was born in 1878. He married Sarah Ann and lived in Clapham, London. He was one of the last Grenadiers, dying at the end of WW1. He Is Listed in Ponsonby's,Roll of Honour, Grenadier Guards in the Great War 1914-18,volume 3.
