48) Unissued Early Narrow Pattern WW1 Derby Scheme Armband. This is the narrow pattern. These armbands tend to be much wider. We have added a photo of this armlet above the standard pattern for reference. The outside is in lovely order and this has clearly not been issued as the buttons have never been attached. Produced and issued with loose buttons so that the wearer could make it the correct size to fit them. One button is missing the other loose button is still loosely attached ready to be fitted. The inside of the band shows dirt and marks from storage but all is fine. It has a faint army council stamp to one end.
