    An unusual Afghanistan produced version of the British 1907 Pattern SMLE bayonet.

    Locally produced for use with Afghan and British made SMLE rifles. 

    Wooden gripped hilt with solid brass rivets, the 16.75 inch blade with hand ground fullers, and distinctive sharpening line.

    Housed in its Afghan made steel mounted leather scabbard with early variation front seam. 

    A rare variation for the SMLE enthusiast.
