A very pleasing and untouched WW1 1907 Pattern SMLE Bayonet.
This example produced by Wilkinson, dated 1918. Pommel catch working but stiff.
A good amount of original finish to the blade, with signs of service sharpening and small edge nicks.
Housed in the standard brown leather scabbard with steel mounts. Some areas of loss to the top mount and light rust.
This recently uncovered bayonet is in need of gentle cleaning, but should improve well.
