About this item
1) A good original wartime economy British army 1937 pattern webbing waist belt. the belt is in good order. It has a very nice even layer of early war pea green powder Blanco to the outside. The inside is maker marked and dated 1943 along with size S for Small. The markings are not the clearest but are easily readable as MECo 1943. This is the economy pattern belt which was only produced 1942 to 1945 and used far less brass than the standard belt (Web sliders, web end tabs etc). it will fit up to a 35 inch waist
