About this item
A good example of a German Army other ranks Belt and Buckle.
The late war steel belt buckle is marker marked Josef Feix & Söhne, J.F.S. and is indicative of the Graublau finished steel buckles which appeared between 1943-45. The condition is very good, the Buckle itself showing only minor rubbing to the high points.
The leather belt measures 91cms but has been shortened for wear by moving the leather tongue back, the reapplied stitching now partially missing. In addition, the jkb marked turnback to the belt holding the closure catch in place, has had the stitching replaced at some time. The leather remains supple and without damage.
