Original WW2 British Army Wireless Set Headphones

An original set of British Army headphones which date from the Second World War. 

This pattern of headphones was used throughout the Second World War in conjunction with the 19, 22, 52 and 62 wireless sets, amongst others. It is the rarer pattern which has rubber ear pieces - this type can be seen in many original period pictures including in tanks and armoured fighting vehicles. 

The headphones feature a wire frame as well as a canvas section. They appear to have been rewired which is reflected in the price.
