An original British made men's Guille hat made by 'Barbour' in the 1980s.
This type of hat was popular with gentlemen for wearing in the country for a number of decades. This example is made from a Donegal Tweed tweed material which has colourful fleck to it. It is a typical Guille hat design in shape and features a band around the base of the crown. The interior is lined and features the original label. It bears the maker's name of 'Barbour' and a single Royal appointment which dates it to having been made between 1974 and 1982.
The hat is approximately a UK size 7.
The overall condition of the hat is good with some signs of wear and use. Overall it displays well and it is still very wearable. Please take time to study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that this is a vintage workwear piece which has some flaws commensurate with age.
