WW2 2nd Goorkha ( Gurkha ) Rifles Officers Battledress Jacket , Trousers, Cap & Slouch Hat

Consisting 1937 Pattern Officer's Battledress Jacket. Khaki woollen, single breasted, closed collar, short jacket.  Lower belt with plated buckle.  Pleated chest pockets with hidden button flaps. Shoulder straps with blackened Lieutenant rank on red backing .  Both arms with embroidery 2nd Goorkha Rifles titles .Left chest with Burma star, Defence & War medal ribbons.  Internal label dated 1942.Black cord Rifles lanyard ./ His Khaki woollen wide leg battledress trousers . Large Left Front pocket with buttoned top flap. Right hip pleated first aid pocket . Side slash pockets . Rear hidden pocket with buttoned flap .Extra cotton lining fitted. / Khaki Officers service dress cap . Red cord boss 2nd Gurkha Rifles . General service small side buttons suporting the black patent chinstrap . Leather sweatband and crown with makers label . / Khaki felt slouch hat .Wide linen pagri band fitted with a black and red checkered Regimental flash .
