A quite beautiful pair of leather WW1 period British Cavalry Officer’s Private purchase Boots with their original four part oak trees.
Complete with their spurs the high Boots are secured at the front with three claw buckled straps closing over a full length leather tongue which provides limited weather proofing, the shoe section with eyelets and laces. Each Boot has a partially discernible silk Portsmouth retailers label.
Missing only the tip of one strap they are in overall very good condition, the soles original from their time of manufacture.
