    About this item

An original pair of women's military issue shoes clearly dated 1952 and in a size 4.

These shoes are original new old stock and came to me still wrapped in their original packaging which they have been in for the last 68 years! The shoes are completely original and untouched and come with an original set of laces.

The design of the shoe makes them an ideal stand-in to wartime dated shoes. They feature a plain toe and low heel and are a very period construction and would be much more suitable than any modern day shoes for a mannequin or re-enactment. These would be suitable as a finishing touch to a whole host of uniforms including WAAF, WREN, Civil Defence, NFS, Red Cross, Nurses and many others.

Inside the shoes bare numerous markings including the makers name 'John Cave', the size '4' and the 1952 date. As well as this they have the War Department broad arrow stamp confirming that they are indeed military issue shoes.

Altogether an excellent pair of shoes in amazing new old stock condition. They would be ideal for re-enactment or to complete a mannequin and are much cheaper than scarce war dated examples!
