Rare unworn WW1 British Army pair of Miners clog boots. Storage marks but looks unworn as can be seen by the wooden sole. Clogs were used in damp ground as they kept the feel warmer and drier. Matching pair by different manufacturers size 4. War Department stamp (WD over 159) can clearly be seen on one of the boots. The other has the manufacturers stamp J Miller & Sons Lon (don) and the final date numeral '4' (1914) . The boots have thick wooden soles and leather uppers.
