WW2 RAF 40 PATTERN FLYING BOOTS - Sz7

WW2 RAF 1940 PATTERN FLYING BOOTS. A good used pair of 1940 pattern flying boots, as used and worn by fighter and bomber crews.

This pair is in good used condition, and still a very good displayable pair of boots. The suede sections show use and wear, but are still very nice and retaining good color to the material. With no damage we can see, there is, however, a strip of suede material missing from the back of one of the boots, not immediately noticeable, and doesn't detract too much at all.

The rubber Galosh sections, once again, are in good condition, still soft and malleable with some minor crazing and small losses as photographed. It is very common to find the rubber section cracked, split, or even melting. These are not too bad at all, really. Both zips, nicely A.M. crown marked on the pullers. Both are in excellent working condition as well. Inside the sheepskin is in again good used condition, and clean without any losses or damage to report. The boots are marked on the zip tongue with an A.M. crown stamps, and also size 7. Finally, both boots are complete with sheepskin sole inserts, again often missing.

Overall, a good pair of boots, ideal for any RAF museum, collection, display, or reenactor use!
