About this item
126) A very nice original WW1 Imperial German memorial frame in the form of a large iron cross with imperial crown and 1914-1915 dates. Made from heavy cast metal which is dark bronze in colour. The rear has foundry marks in the casting. It has a crude wire hanger which someone has added long ago. The death card in this was in it when we got it. The backing is card and was probably originally of thin wood. it measures 8 inches across in each direction. A nice original period made item.
