    About this item

    An original World War One Victory Medal, correctly named as follows;

    203892 PTE. F. STOCKTON. K.S.L.I.

    Frederick Stockton was entitled to a pair and later served with the Royal Warwickshire Regiment under s/n 260186.  It is not noted on the MIC, but CWGC shows that he was killed in action on 3 September 1917 whilst serving with the 2/6th Bttn Royal Warwicks.  He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Menin Gate.
