About this item
A Vietnam War era medal grouping comprising the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. The case for the Bronze Star is present, whilst the Purple Heart has two Oak Leaf Clusters, which denotes that the medal was awarded three times. Both medals are 'slot brooch', denoting World War Two era manufacture. Medals are correctly named to;
JOHN R. NOBLE
I believe this is John Randolph Noble Snr, born 1942 and died 19 January 2017. His head stone records he was entitled to the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart with two Oak Leaf Clusters and Air Medal, which is sadly not present.
