The Medal Index Card confirms Bertram Rayner was entitled to a Pair. It is not stated on the MIC but Soldiers Died confirms he was killed in action on 6 October 1918. CWGC shows he served with the 216th Siege Battery and is buried in Bellicourt British Cemetery.
