About this item
An excellent and little used example of a Replica Hanhart Chronograph, produced as a limited run of 2,500 pieces by the original makers, Hanhart, of the 1939 model Luftwaffe pilot’s chronograph, type 700 ff.
In of course excellent working condition and without damage of any kind, this is number 1487 and was purchased on 2nd November 2001 in the UK, the case back showing the serial number which is repeated in the original guarantee booklet which is included.
The hand wound Chronograph has a 17 Jewel ETA/Valjoux Kaliber, scratch resistant sapphire crystal with rotating bezel with marking, and a stainless steel case, water resistant to 100 meters. The black dial has luminous markings on both the dial and hands.
Complete with the original leather strap marked Hanhart, the Chronograph is accompanied by a brand new and unused replacement Hanhart strap.
Also included is the original leather storage / display case double marked Hanhart, its display pillow, storage bag and original Hanhart marked corrugated card packaging.
A quite beautiful and practical timepiece that continues to increase in value.
