Brass construction with silvered face. Marine marked and numbered. Complete with attachment ring fittings. Working order. Complete with key. Three small face screws missing to top - otherwise nice condition. Back plate marked L5984.
Manufacturer & Type: Constructed in heavy stepped brass with three external mounting lugs. These were primarily manufactured by firms such as Kieninger & Obergfell or Junghans.

Features: Includes an advance/retard regulation lever near the 12/2 o'clock area (V/N for Voreilung/Nachilung), a central winding arbor above the 6, and a hinged glass bezel latched on the right side.
Finish: While originally finished in a black-lacquered/painted coating at the factory, wartime sailors or postwar owners frequently polished these down to raw brass.
