This period collectable is an WW2 1930s British Home Front Tucks Oilette Gramophone Record Postcard perfect for home front shop displays and home front displays. This gramophone record is called “poor old joe”.
This gramophone record is in good condition and should still be able to play On a gramophone. The tune this would play would be Oilette which was originally written and played in 1909. Tucks postcards produced many of these in this series, in which it was the 1930s way of sending a song to a friend or family member.
