About this item
An excellent, unissued and undamged 10a/14278 Microphone Assembly Type1.
More generally thought of as the Headset and Microphone used by WAAF Plotters and seen in so many images of the Battle of Britain, this equipment was in fact used by all three services in various roles.
Complete with it’s original stores box, last inspected and re packed in 1955 and with the original instruction for the “Operator’s Breastplate Transmitter” made by Siemens still attached, the Breastplate carries patent numbers for 1932.
