About this item
117) Interesting Original WW1 British Army White Enamel Cup With Period Done Field Repair. The cup is the standard early WW1 issue white enamel tea mug as issued to and carried by every Tommy. This one is a little battered and shows much enamel loss to dents around the base along with a few pin hole rust holes. It has a very interesting field repair using 2 washers a nut and bolt and looks to have leather inder the washers to seal the hole. A typical British army economy measure.
