About this item
A very nice displayable example of an RAF Instrument Panel Airspeed Indicator as used in Spitfires and Mosquitos.
Calibrated in MPH rather Knots to 480 MPH, the instrument is without damage but is sold as a display item only.
The inner dial is marked MK.1XF K and 6A/587. The rear of Instrument carries the Air Ministry mark with 28324/42. Both pitot and static tubes are present.
Formerly part of a warbird restoration spares stock it has a label attached simply saying “Spitfire Mk9”
