About this item
WW2 Luftwaffe Me109/Fw190/Ju88 J30BZ cockpit clock. As used and found in a large variety of WWII German aircraft, a standard clock with chronograph function.
Really nice example of this type of clock, still working and keeping good time, weve found it gains about 1 minute a day, so could be regulated to make it slightly more accurate. The chronograph function is still working; this is activated by pressing the lowest push lever below the winding knob. To the right of the winding know is the setting lever; when pulled down and the winding knob turned, it allows you to set the time. The bezel and lens are in good condition, with no damage or issues to the dial and hands. The case still retains a good amount of original grey paint. The rear case back unscrews, revealing the anti-magnetic guard still in place. Below, the back cover is a small printed section with some manufacturer details, now slightly rubbed. The clock is mounted on a basic plastic stand for display.
A very nice clock that would display very well in any Luftwaffe collection, display, or museum.
